The vaulted ceiling makes it feel bigger than it is, and the view out the window is beautiful. There were plenty of blankets and linens, and it was really nice to have a full size fridge and a full size stove. We plan to return when we can this ski season or even in the summer. Great condo close to a beautiful creek to lounge around during the summer days.

For fun, there are lots of parks and outdoor spaces for activities like hiking and boating. The city also has a lively arts scene, with museums, theaters, and galleries. Plus, Stockton is not too far from big cities like San Francisco and beautiful places like Yosemite National Park, so there's always something to do or explore nearby.

Probably the best lodging overall that we've had in Keystone. Where hikers once recovered after a full day on the mountain, Mountain House continues the tradition of providing delicious, comforting meals -- welcoming all who explore the great outdoors. However the elevators were out of service for an extended time which also was an issue last year when we stayed at silver mill.
With a ski school and children’s center, rental shops, retail shops, dining, and lift ticket office, Mountain House has everything you’ll need right there. Shuttle service is also provided from the Mountain House neighborhood to the nearby Keystone Village. This resort-style staff gated neighborhood features extensive amenities, including a fitness center, spa, pools, outdoor gathering areas, cafe, and community firepit.
We also received no maid service for the entire stay which would have been nice for clean towels. Mountain House meals provide comfort under any condition. The Mountain House base area is not too far from River Run only an easy half mile walk from River Run. During the night the Mountain House base area winds down at an earlier hour than areas like River Run Village making it perfect for families who prefer to have the area quiet by 8pm. Close by are plenty of restaurants and shops along US Hwy 6 including Snake River Saloon, so you will still be within just a few minutes walking distance to fine dining, and fun pubs in the evening. There is definitely plenty of fun for the whole family or your group in the Mountain House base area. Three new collections feature large estates, single family villas, and paired villas. Chateaux DuMont is located in the Mountain House area and is one of the nicest vintage buildings in Keystone. It is just yards from the lifts and most have private hot tubs. Another right at the base is the Slopeside complex which have the lowest rates for ski-in ski-out condos. The base area has a nice BBQ joint, of course a pizza place, cafe and bar.
